- No family member should be a government employee or a pensioner. (Families of sanitary workers are exempted.)
- Four-Wheeler Ownership:
- The family should not own a four-wheeler (with taxis, tractors, and autos being exempted).
- Electricity Consumption:
- Monthly electricity consumption of the dwelling (owned or rented) should be less than 300 units.
- Income Tax:
- No family member should be an income tax payee.
- Municipal Property:
- Less than 750 sq. feet of built-up area (residential or commercial).
- Age & Gender:
- The applicant should be a female between 45 and 60 years of age.
- Category:
- The applicant must belong to the Economically Backward Classes.
Application Process
- Online Application:
- Log in to the Citizen Schemes Portal using Aadhaar-tagged mobile OTP authentication.
- Select Scheme:
- On the “Citizen Scheme Application” page, choose “YSR EBC Nestham” from the schemes dropdown and click on “Submit.”
- Field Verification:
- Applications are forwarded to the Welfare and Education Assistant (WEA) or Ward Welfare and Development Secretary (WWDS) for field verification, eKYC, and recommendation.

- Final List Publication:

- Disbursement:
- Benefits are disbursed to eligible beneficiaries through the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS). Volunteers/WEAs/WWDS record the receipt using eKYC (biometric authentication).
