Workers in case of partial permanent disablement scheme under the MUHAFIZ Scheme (PMJJBY: Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PMSBY: Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana) by Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, J & K from 01.01.2018 onwards, wherever Registered BOC, pays ₹2,00,000 in the event of permanent disablement.

Benefits of the Scheme:

• Permanent Disablement Benefit: ₹2,00,000 (provided in two parts: 50% in Fixed Deposit, 50% via Cheque/DBT).

For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

• The applicant should be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
• The applicant should be a Building/Construction Worker.
• The applicant should be 18 to 60 years of age.
• The applicant must have worked in building or other construction work for at least 90 days in the previous 12 months.
• The worker’s registration should be renewed annually.
