The “Assistance to Viable and Potentially Viable PWCS” is a sub-scheme under the West Bengal Handloom and Khadi Weavers Financial Benefit Scheme 2025, launched by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise and Textiles Department, Government of West Bengal on 7th March 2024. This sub-scheme is intended to offer financial assistance to Primary Weavers’ Cooperative Societies (PWCS) and Khadi Societies that are deemed viable or potentially viable by a State Level Committee constituted under the scheme. The scheme will remain in force for five years from the date of launch.
