“Facilitation Supports” is a sub-scheme under the “West Bengal Artisans Financial Benefit Scheme 2024”, launched by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise and Textiles Department, Government of West Bengal on 7th March 2024. This scheme will remain in force for a period of five years.
The objective of the scheme is to provide essential facilitation support to individual artisans and Industrial Cooperative Societies to promote and sustain traditional craftsmanship and trades across West Bengal.

Eligibility

The applicant must belong to any group of artisans
-
Age should be between 18 and 60 years

Must be engaged in traditional craft/trade using hand tools, small machines, or equipment

Must be enlisted in the State Portal for artisans & weavers
-
Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of West Bengal for the past 10 years
Exclusions

Central or State Government employees and their family members are not eligible

Applicants who have already availed any assistance or grant for the same purpose from Central/State Government
-
Handloom and Khadi Weavers and their societies are not eligible (they are covered under separate schemes)
