Eligibility
- The applicant must belong to the VJNT category.
- The applicant must have secured the first rank in State or Board Examinations for Class 10 (SSC) or Class 12 (HSC).
- Both first boy and first girl in the State and Board Examinations are eligible.
Application Process
Online Application
- Visit the Official Website
- Go to the official Maharashtra scholarship portal.
- New Registration
- Click on “New Applicant Registration”.
- Register using Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Create a Username and Password.
- Verify your Mobile Number & Email via OTP.
- Login & Aadhaar-Bank Link
- Log in using your Username & Password.
- Click on “Aadhaar Bank Link” to link your Aadhaar with your Bank Account.
- Complete Profile
- Click on “Profile” and fill in Personal Details, Address, Qualification, and Other Information.
- Upload the mandatory documents and click Save.
- Apply for Scheme
- Click on “All Schemes”, select “Vasantrao Naik Merit Award”.
- Fill in the required details and upload documents.
- Click Submit. Save the Application ID for future reference.
- Track Application Status
- Click on “My Applied Scheme History” to check the application status (Under Scrutiny / Approved / Rejected / Fund Disbursed).
