VJNT Tuition & Exam Fee Reimbursement Scheme 2025 Eligibility, Process & Updates

The Government of Maharashtra launched a scheme namely “Tuition fees and examination fees to Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) students.
Scheme Objective
Under the scheme,
  1. Tuition Fees,
  2. Admission Fees
  3. Term Fees
  4. Library Fees
  5. Laboratory Fees
  6. Gymkhana Fees, and
  7. Examination Fees
All the students belonging to V.J. and N.T. are being reimbursed for the payment of these mentioned 7 fees at Post Matriculation Education in recognized educational institutions. Students with one failure and those not covered under the Government of India Scholarship are also held eligible for such reimbursement.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must belong to the Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) category.
Parents’ annual income should be between ₹1,00,000 to ₹4,50,000.
The student must be enrolled in a recognized post-matric educational institution.
Students with one failure are still eligible for fee reimbursement.


Exclusions

Students already covered under the Government of India Scholarship.
Students studying in non-recognized institutions.


Application Process

Online Application Process:

Visit the official website and register as a new applicant by clicking on “New Applicant Registration”.
Login using your newly created credentials.
Complete your profile by providing all personal details, address, qualifications, etc.
Once the profile is 100% complete, apply for the Tuition and Examination Fees Reimbursement Scheme.
The concerned college will verify and forward the application to the Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare for sanction.

Note:

  • Online application must be filled out only for the first year of the course.
  • For subsequent years, the college will renew the application and forward it for approval.
