It is available only to those who have completed training under the “Skill Upgradation” or “Recognition of Prior Learning” schemes.

Eligibility
For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

Resident of Punjab
-
Aged between 18 and 60
-
Worked in construction for at least 90 days in a year

Monthly income not exceeding ₹15,000/-

Not a member of any other Welfare Fund, EPF, NPS, or ESIC
-
Not an income tax payer
For Welfare Scheme Application:

Must be a registered member under Punjab BOCW Welfare Board

Must be a regular contributor
-
Must have completed training under “Skill Upgradation” or “Recognition of Prior Learning”

Tools purchased should be relevant to the applicant’s trade
Application Process
Offline:

Registration: Visit nearest Sewa Kendra, Labour Inspector, or Registering Officer to register using Form No. 28

Pay ₹25 (one-time registration fee)

₹10 per month as contribution (minimum 1 year, max 5 years)

Scheme Application: Submit application with proof of tool purchase and training certificate at the nearest Sewa Kendra or Labour Office.
