A dedicated financial assistance scheme aimed at empowering young women in J&K to set up self-employment ventures. The initiative supports income-generating activities in manufacturing, services, trading, and micro-startups, aligned with the woman’s skill set and local opportunities.

Benefits

  • Loan up to ₹5 lakh under Mudra loan from J&K Bank

  • Interest-free repayment of the loan

  • ₹50,000 or 10% of project cost (whichever is less) as upfront subsidy by Mission Youth

  • Interest subsidy of up to ₹60,000 (on submission of sustainability proof)

  • Subsidy is adjusted against EMI for the first 6 months

Eligibility

  • Female domicile of J&K, aged 18 to 35 years

  • Registered with Mission Youth, J&K

  • 10th pass or above (relaxable by CEO, Mission Youth)

  • Unemployed and registered with District Employment & Counseling Center

  • 50% or more ownership in enterprise by women (in case of joint ventures)

  • Preference to those trained in RSETIs/Skill Institutes

  • Not a defaulter to any bank or financial institution

  • No family income criteria

  • Assistance under this scheme only once

  • If project cost exceeds ₹5 lakh, extra cost to be self-financed

Exclusions

  • Applicants who have already availed loans/subsidies under any other Government scheme

  • Existing units that have received government incentives

  3. Fill in details, upload required documents

  4. Applications reviewed by District Level Committee (DLIC)

  5. Mission Youth issues formal sanction and subsidy release

  6. District Lead Bank disburses loan within 15 days of approval

Note:
Selected beneficiaries must submit an Indemnity Bond attested by a First Class Judicial Magistrate confirming:

  • No previous employment or government assistance

  • Intent to use funds solely for proposed self-employment

  • To establish the unit as per DPR within the specified timeframe

  • Submit annual financial proof (GST/Bank/C.A.-certified statements)

Default or misuse may lead to:

  • Cancellation of interest subsidy

  • Legal action by Mission Youth

  • Recovery of subsidy amount by the bank
