Eligibility

Fresh Registration Criteria:

  • All Micro & Small Enterprises holding a Udyam Registration are eligible.
  • MSEs that have commenced commercial production but are less than one year old may receive a Provisional Registration Certificate, subject to a monetary limit of ₹5.00 Lacs.
  • Only manufacturing and service MSEs are eligible; traders are excluded.
  • The SPRS Certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of registration and must be renewed every two years.

Renewal Criteria:

  • Renewal applications can be submitted 6 months before certificate expiry.
  • MSEs renewing before the expiry receive a 50% discount on the renewal fee.
  • If no changes are made since the last certificate, renewal can be completed online.

Exclusions:

  • MSEs engaged in the manufacture of medicines and drugs (except those involved in Ayurvedic, Unani, Sidha, and Homeopathic medicines).

  • MSEs that have been blacklisted.

Online Fresh Registration:

  1. Udyam Registration:
    Obtain your Udyam Registration Number by visiting the Udyam Registration website.

  2. NSIC Registration:
    Register in the MSME Data Bank using your Udyam Registration Number and PAN to enroll for SPRS.

  3. Application Submission:

    • Visit the NSIC official website.
