The Scheme for the Provision of Special Financial Assistance for Organizing Cultural Events is launched by Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa to encourage people, cultural groups, and organizations in supporting cultural activities such as exhibitions, festivals, workshops, and performances. This scheme is initiated to assist individuals in providing financial aid to cultivate Goan art and engage the public in cultural activities.

- Provide financial aid to cultural groups or persons for conducting cultural events.
- Provide an opportunity to young Goan artists to hone their skills.
Benefits
- Financial Assistance:
- Up to ₹5,00,000 or 80% of the event expenditure, whichever is lower.
- For events organized suo-moto by the Directorate of Art & Culture, grants may cover up to 100% of the expenditure, subject to a maximum of ₹5,00,000.
- The financial grant amount will be determined by the Department of Art & Culture based on:
- The nature and scope of the proposed cultural event.
- The reputation, eligibility, and past experience of the applicant.
