Launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat under the Gujarat Industrial Policy, this scheme is effective from August 7, 2020, to August 6, 2025. The initiative aims to promote sustainable industrial growth by supporting industries in adopting cleaner production technologies and advanced pollution control equipment. The scheme focuses on improving environmental management by optimizing raw material use, reducing energy and water consumption, and minimizing waste generation.
Benefits
The scheme supports two types of eligible activities:

Implementation of Cleaner Production Technology:

For MSMEs: Up to 35% of the cost of plant and machinery is subsidized (ceiling of ₹35,00,000).

For Large Projects: Up to 10% of the cost of plant and machinery is subsidized (ceiling of ₹35,00,000).

Installation of Clean, Efficient, and Innovative Pollution Control Equipment:

For MSMEs: Up to 25% of the cost of plant and machinery is subsidized (ceiling of ₹35,00,000).

For Large Projects: Up to 10% of the cost of plant and machinery is subsidized (ceiling of ₹35,00,000).

Assistance under the scheme is sanctioned by the State Level Empowered Committee and disbursed by the Industries Commissionerate.
Eligibility

The industry or unit must be registered under the relevant industrial laws in Gujarat.

Process Diagram with a brief note on existing and new technology adopted.
