Benefits
• Site Master Plan Assistance: Up to 75% assistance with a ceiling of ₹80,00,000 per project for the preparation of a site master plan for relocation/retrofitting, prepared by recognized institutions (e.g., IITs, NITs, GEMI, GCPC)
• Capital Assistance for Setup/Relocation/Retrofitting: Up to 25% of capital cost or a maximum of ₹25,00,00,000 per project
Eligibility
• The Industries Commissioner, based on GPCB’s recommendation, appoints a professional agency for assessing relocation needs
• The professional agency evaluates the pollution load, effluent quality, and overall environmental benefits
• The study report must be approved by the State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC) before project execution
• Any institution or group of industries with polluting industrial units recommended for relocation or retrofitting by GPCB is eligible
