Benefits

Financial Assistance for Interest Subvention:
Dairy units of 4 and 10 milch animals:
  – 25% subsidy on the cost of milch animals purchased through a bank loan
  – Subsidy provided three months after purchase/tagging or loan disbursement (whichever is later) and subject to verification by a veterinary surgeon

Dairy units of 20 and 50 milch animals:
  – Interest subvention on 75% of the cost of milch animals (25% margin money to be arranged by the beneficiary)
  – Maximum limits:
    – 20 milch animals: Maximum unit cost (livestock component) ₹20 Lakhs; maximum loan limit for interest subvention ₹15 Lakhs

• Assistance with purchase of animals, tagging, and issuance of health certificates

Eligibility

Applicant must be 18 to 55 years of age and a resident of Haryana
• Must be unemployed (employment even in the private sector disqualifies an applicant)

• Applicants for dairy units of 20 and 50 milch animals must own or have a long lease on 2-acre and 5-acre agricultural land, respectively, for green fodder production
