1. Capital Expenditure Support : Up to ₹5 crore for purchase of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure setup (excluding land and new buildings).

2. Operating Expenditure Support : Up to ₹5 crore for faculty honorarium, administrative expenses, and operational costs.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Financial Assistance for Setting Up an Anchor Institute, institutions must fulfill the following conditions:

Step 1: Offline Submission

  4. Applications are accepted twice a year in April and October.

Step 2: Review & Selection Process

  1. A Screening Committee reviews the application for feasibility.
  2. The State Level Empowered Committee (SLEC) makes the final approval decision.
  3. Approved institutions receive funding and further instructions for implementation.
