Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME): Assistance in Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

The “Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)” was launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat, to enhance the competitiveness of Gujarat’s MSME sector. Effective from August 7, 2020 to August 6, 2025, the scheme includes support for ICT infrastructure to enable MSMEs to adopt modern technological solutions.

The sub-component “Assistance in Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)” aims to provide financial support for the capital expenditure incurred on communication, networking, cloud computing, and related digital systems.

Benefits

• Financial Support:
  65% of capital expenditure on ICT facilities, subject to a maximum of ₹5,00,000/-.

Eligibility

• The enterprise must be a Micro, Small, or Medium enterprise.

• The applicant must have a project plan for implementing ICT infrastructure.

Application Process

Mode: Online

Registration Process:

1. Visit the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP).

2. Click “New Investor Registration”, fill in the form, and submit.

3. Verify the email ID using the verification link sent.

4. Upon successful verification, registration is complete.

Post-Registration Application:

1. Visit the IFP portal and click “Login”.

2. Enter your registered email and password.

3. Access your dashboard and fill in the business details and attach required documents.

4. Submit the completed application.

• Copy of Constitution of the Enterprise

• CA Certificate for Fixed Capital Investment

• CA-Certified Detailed Expenditure Statement for ICT System

• Undertaking for any assistance from GoG and GoI

• Copy of Bills related to ICT expenditure

• Copy of Highlighted Bank Statement

• Copy of GPCB NOC/Consent (if applicable)

• PAN Card of the Enterprise and Authorized Signatory

• GST Registration Certificate (if applicable)

• Audited Balance Sheet/ITR of Last FY

• Latest Electricity Bill

• Brief Project Report on ICT implementation

• Power of Attorney / Board Resolution / Consent Letter

• Self-attested documents by Authorized Person
