The Rajasthan government aims to provide educational opportunities to students belonging to Schedule Tribe student, specifically those studying in grades 6 to 8.
This program targets students from Schedule Tribe whose parents/guardians are not income taxpayers and not getting any other type of scholarship or allowance for study from central, state / public sources.

Benefits

  • For Scheduled Tribe Boys: ₹75 per month.
  • For Scheduled Tribe Girls: ₹125 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
  • The applicant must be a regular student in Classes 6 to 8 in schools run by:
    • Central Government
    • State Government
    • Municipalities
    • Recognized institutions under the Department of Education
  • The applicant’s parents/guardians must not be income taxpayers.
  • The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarships or study allowances from central, state, or public sources.
  • If the student has failed the last session, the scholarship will be stopped. However, if the student passes the class in the next session, they can reapply for the scholarship.
  • The applicant must not be residing in hostels run or aided by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Application Process

Online Application Steps

  1. Log in to the RajSSO Portal using SSOID.
    • If the applicant does not have an SSOID, they must register first on the RajSSO Portal.
  2. After successful authentication/login, update the SSO Profile on the first login.
  3. Select the Scholarship Scheme Name from the list.
  4. Choose the applicant’s name and linked bank account and fill in the personal details.
  5. Upload all the required documents.
  6. Click on Submit to complete the application.

  1. Aadhaar Card (Identity Proof).
  2. Annual Income Certificate of the Parent/Guardian (Non-Taxpayer Proof).
  3. Janaadhaar Card Details of both Family and Student.
  4. Bank Account Details linked with the Janaadhaar Card of either the Family Head or Student.
  5. Caste Certificate (Scheduled Tribe Certificate).
  6. Birth Certificate (Proof of Age).
