The Schedule Caste Pre-Metric Scholarship is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan, which aims to provide financial support to Scheduled Caste students studying in classes 6 to 8. Under this scheme, SC students are provided with monthly financial assistance to continue their education.
This scholarship plan is addressed towards the children of parents who are not a direct taxpayer because of income restrictions; there is also an aspect stating that they may not be awarded other scholarships/study grants, whether by the central government, state government, or any public sector unit.

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
- The student must be a regular student in classes 6 to 8 in schools run by:
- Central Government
- State Government
- Municipalities
- Schools recognized by the Department of Education
- The student’s parent(s) or guardian should not be an income taxpayer.
- The student should not be receiving any other scholarship or study allowance from the central, state, or public sources.
- The student should not have failed the previous class.
- Scholarship will be terminated in case of failure in an academic year.
- If the student passes in the next attempt, they must reapply for the scholarship in the new class.
Application Process
Online Application Process
- Go to the RajSSO Portal and login into SSOID.
- If you don’t have an SSOID, register on the RajSSO Portal and create an SSO Profile.
- Authenticate/login and update the SSOID Profile.
- Scheme Name: Select the scheme from the list of available schemes.
- Personal Details: Fill in the personal details and select the bank account details, ensuring the relevant information is entered correctly.
- Upload documents needed for application (list given below).
- Click the submit button to finalize the application.
