Implementation of the Scheme
- Registered Private Coaching Institutions and NGOs operating in Jharkhand are eligible for participation.
- Coaching institutions must operate in Ranchi and Dumka.
- If an institution runs coaching in multiple districts, separate proposals must be submitted for each district.
- The selection of coaching institutions will be for a single financial year; fresh proposals are invited annually.
- Each coaching batch must have a maximum of 40 students, with:
- 30% SC women candidates.
- 5% SC disabled candidates.
- 10% students per batch can be selected from a particular district.
- Candidates can avail coaching for one specific exam only and a maximum of two courses in total.
Courses Covered Under the Scheme
The scheme provides coaching for the following:
- Civil Services Examination / State Civil Services Examination.
- Entrance Exams for Medical, Engineering, MBA, and other professional courses.
- UPSC Exams (CDS, NDA, etc.), SSC, Subordinate Services Exams, and Central Excise Exams.
- Banking, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), and General Insurance Corporation (GIC) exams.
Terms & Conditions for Coaching Institutions
- The grant cannot be used for political or anti-government propaganda.
- Stipend and boarding/lodging support must be distributed monthly via account payee cheques.
- Institutions cannot charge fees from SC beneficiaries.
- SC Certificates must be verified by competent authorities (Collector, Deputy Collector, Tehsildar, etc.).
- Institutions must ensure students do not drop out before completing the course.
- Students must not have received coaching under any other government scheme.
- A detailed list of students (with photographs) must be submitted within one week of classes commencing.
