Pucca Ghar Yojana (Mining) is an initiative by the Government of Odisha aimed at improving the living conditions of households in mining-affected blocks of nine mineral-bearing districts.     • Kutcha households without a sanctioned house under any previous housing scheme.
  3. Exclusions:
    • Households with existing pucca houses.
    • Beneficiaries of previous rural housing schemes.

Application Process

Online Registration

  1. Visit the Rural Housing Odisha Portal.
  2. Click on “Registration” and fill in the required details in the Beneficiary Registration Form.
  3. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and submit the form.

Selection Process

  1. Survey and Verification:
    • Block Development Officers (BDOs) conduct field surveys to identify eligible households.
    • The list is verified against previous housing scheme beneficiaries and SECC 2011 data.
  2. Sanctioning:
    • BDOs submit verified lists to the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) and the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water (PR&DW) Department.
    • Sanction orders are issued to eligible beneficiaries.
  3. Work Orders:
