– Beneficiaries receive a back-ended subsidy of 40% on the unit cost
– Maximum units and subsidy per unit are as prescribed in the scheme’s table
– A beneficiary may avail subsidy for only one component, and if they have availed subsidy on a component in the last 5 years, they are not eligible for that component again
