This scheme is available exclusively for Delhi residents who meet the income and residency criteria set by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD). It also accommodates applicants who do not have formal proof of residence by allowing them to submit alternative documentation.
Benefits
- For Ages 60–69:
Eligible candidates receive Rs. 2,000 per month. - Additional Benefits for SC/ST/Minority Members:
An extra Rs. 500 per month is provided for those belonging to SC/ST/Minority groups (total Rs. 2,500 per month for candidates aged 60–69). - For Ages 70 and Above:
Candidates over 70 receive Rs. 2,500 per month.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be 60 years or older.
- Must have resided in Delhi for at least five years before the application date.
- The applicant’s total annual family income from all sources (including rent, interest/dividends, earnings from farming, property sale proceeds, etc.) should be less than Rs. 1,00,000.
- Possession of an Aadhaar number is mandatory.
- The applicant must have a single bank account within the National Capital Territory of Delhi for receiving payments via the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
- The applicant must not be receiving any pension or financial assistance from the Central Government, State Government, or other local governmental bodies.

- Visit the Portal:
Navigate to https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/. - New User Registration:
- Under “Citizen Corner,” click on “New User.”
- Select the document type (Aadhaar or Voter ID) and enter the corresponding number.
- Complete the Captcha and click “Continue.”
- Fill in the Citizen Registration Form, including details of your present residential address.
- Submit the form to receive a Login ID and Password on your registered mobile number/e-mail address.
- Login and Apply:
- Click on “Registered User Login” and enter your Login ID, Password, and Captcha.
- On the Main Page, click “Apply Online” under the services drop-down.
- Select the “Department of Social Welfare” and then choose the scheme name.
- Fill in all required fields, upload necessary documents, and then upload a photograph.
- Click “Finish.” An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter the OTP and submit.
- An acknowledgment of successful submission will be generated.
