The NITI Internship Scheme is designed to engage students pursuing Undergraduate, Graduate, Postgraduate, or Research Degrees in recognized institutions in India or abroad as Interns. These interns will be assigned to different divisions/units of NITI Aayog and contribute to policy analysis, research, and documentation. The internship is unpaid, but it offers valuable exposure to government policymaking and development.

Internship Duration
- Minimum Duration 6 weeks
- Maximum Duration 6 months
Interns must bring their own laptops. NITI Aayog will provide working space, internet access, and other facilities as required.

- Must have secured at least 85 percent in Class 12

- Must have secured at least 70 percent in Graduation

Recently Graduated Students
- Those who have just completed their UG or PG and are waiting for higher studies admission can apply within 6 months of their final exam results
- Must have secured 70 percent or more cumulative marks

Important Notes

- Internship applications open from the 1st to the 10th of every month
- Only online applications are accepted
- Candidates must attain 75 percent attendance to receive a certificate
- Original mark sheets and NOC from the institution must be submitted before joining
