The scheme “Nirman Shramik Jeevan va Bhavishya Suraksha Yojana” ( Construction Workers Life and Future Security Scheme) started in 2016 by Building & Other Constracting Workers Welfare Board, Govt of Rajasthan aims to offer construction workers and their dependents monetary security via insurance and pensional benefits of insurances that are covered under the scheme to the registered workers. Under this programme Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana/Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana/Atal Pension Yojana benefits are being provided to registered construction workers as per their eligibility. This multi-pronged scheme goes alongside other initiatives like Construction Workers Tools/Toolkit Assistance Scheme, Construction Workers Education and Skill Development Scheme and even Construction Workers Sulabh Yojana.
Benefits of the Scheme:
- Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY):
- 100% reimbursement of the annual premium amount (₹12).
- The premium is fully reimbursed via electronic transfer.
- Proof of premium deduction must be shown via the bank passbook.
- Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY):
- 50% reimbursement of the annual premium amount.
- Total premium: ₹330.

- Atal Pension Yojana (APY):

- Step 1: Visit the Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) Portal and click “Register Here”.
- Step 2: Fill in all mandatory fields, verify your Mobile Number via OTP, and click “Register”.
- Step 3: After successful registration, log in to the SSO Portal and browse the various Departmental Portals.
- Step 4: Click on the “Labour Department Management System (LDMS)” icon.
- If you are already registered with LDMS, click ‘Yes’, provide your LDMS Login ID & Password, and map it with your SSO ID.
- If you are not registered with LDMS, click ‘No’, and provide details such as district, house number, village/town/city, and PIN code.
- Step 5: After submitting the profile, you will be directed to the LDMS dashboard.
- Step 6: Select “Welfare Schemes”, then choose “BOCW Welfare Board” and click “Apply for Scheme”.
- Step 7: Select the scheme you wish to apply for and fill in the online application form with the required documents. Finally, click “Submit”.
