Mukhyamantri Vyavsayik Pathyakram Margdarshan Yojana Bihar: Free Coaching for BC and EBC

The Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar conducts the “Mukhyamantri Vyavsayik Pathyakram Margdarshan Evam Utprerak Yojana” scheme. It provides free pre-examination coaching to the students belonging to the BC and EBC categories. This includes students preparing for NET, GATE, JRF, and Ph.D. exams. It is provided at several colleges and career counseling centers.

Benefits

Free coaching is provided : The shortlisted candidates will be provided with free coaching services by a few of its renowned career counseling institutes. There are no hostel facilities available.


Eligibility

  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar and also should be a part of the Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class.
  • Income Limit: The applicant’s household should not earn more than ₹3,00,000 per year.
  • Educational Qualifications: For appearing in the competitive exam, the applicant needs to meet the minimum educational requirements.
  • Selection: The selection procedure will be in the form of a written multiple-choice test which is conducted strictly as per the syllabus for the exam.

Offline Application Process:

  1. Step 1: The form of application can be downloaded from the official website, or may also be picked in person from the appropriate Career Guidance Center Director.
  2. Step 2: Submit application with all required information. Self-attested copies of relevant documents may also be attached to the form and a passport-size photograph must also be pasted on which sign across may also be made, if needed.
  3. Step 3: Send the completed application and supporting documents to the proper Career Guidance Center Director through registered or expedited mail.
