The Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojna is a scholarship initiative by the Government of Delhi aimed at supporting students from Class IX to XII. Benefits
- For Classes IX to X:
- Financial assistance of ₹5,000/- per annum.
- For Classes XI to XII:
- Financial assistance of ₹10,000/- per annum.
Eligibility
- Residency:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the GNCT of Delhi.
- Academic Requirement:
- Students must be studying in Class IX to XII in a recognized school in Delhi.
- A minimum of 50% marks is required for Class IX to X.
- A minimum of 60% marks is required for Class XI to XII.
- Note: For SC/ST/OBC students scoring 75% and above in the previous class, the income limit does not apply.
- Income Limit:
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakhs (in line with the EWS income limit), subject to exclusions notified by the Government of India.
- Caste/Domicile Proof:
- Applicants must upload a caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC) issued by the SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCT of Delhi. (In case the certificate is issued by an outside state authority, a Delhi Domicile Certificate from the Revenue Department will be accepted for SC beneficiaries.)
- Non-Repeater:
- Students who are repeaters in a particular class are not eligible.
- Banking Requirement:
- The student’s bank account must be in the name of the student (a joint account with a parent/guardian is acceptable) and must be active with the Aadhaar number seeded.

User Registration:
- Visit https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/.
- Under Citizen Corner, click “New User/Register Here”.
- Select the document type (Aadhaar or Voter ID), then enter your Aadhaar/Voter ID number and the Captcha.
- Submit the form; your login ID and password will be sent to your registered mobile number or email.

Application Submission:
- Login as a registered user.
- Click on “Apply Online” from the main page.
- In the drop-down list of departments, select Department of Social Welfare.
- Choose “Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojna”.
- Fill in the BASIC/PERSONAL DETAILS form and click “Continue”.
- Upload a recent photograph.
- Click “Finish”, then enter the OTP received on your mobile and submit your application.
- An acknowledgement of successful submission will be generated.
