Kailash Mansarovar Yatra project is under the purview of Religious Trusts and Endowments Department, government of Madhya Pradesh. The aim of this effort is to support financial relief to a lot of pilgrims form Madhya Pradesh state who are undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Key Details of the Scheme
- Objective: To financially help pilgrims for part of the fees that they have spend while doing Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
- Benefit:
- The total expenses will be reimbursed 50% by Madhya Pradesh government on proof of usage up to a ceiling limit of Rs 30,000 per pilgrim.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- applicant must be a resident under Madhya Pradesh Selected by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to go for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra shall be considered as the applicant.
- THE applicant shall not be an income tax payer.
- The benefit is available once in a lifetime
- Pilgrims are required to produce all of supporting invoices relating to the actual expenses for trajectory.

Mode of Application: Offline
- Timing: Submit your application to the concerned District Collector’s office within 60 days of completing the pilgrimage.

- Fill out the prescribed application form.
- Attach all required documents.
- Submit the application to the District Collector in Madhya Pradesh.
- Verification & Disbursement:
- The Collector’s office will verify the records and disburse the eligible grant amount.

No, financial assistance is provided only after completing the pilgrimage.
