Launched in 2013, the Chief Minister’s Building and Other Construction Workers Housing (Rural) Scheme aims to provide permanent housing to registered construction workers in rural Madhya Pradesh who are homeless or living in kutcha or semi-pucca houses. The scheme is applicable only to rural areas and excludes urban and Nazul outer areas.
Benefits
- Financial Grant: A minimum loan grant of ₹50,000 is provided to beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria
For Registration

- Applicant should not qualify for Indira Awas Yojana or Chief Minister Antyodaya Awas Yojana.
- Family must own no more than three hectares of agricultural land.
- Annual family income must not exceed ₹3,00,000.
- Applicant must have sufficient land for house construction.
- Must be eligible to receive land for housing from the government or hold landholder certification.
- Applicant must agree to contribute labor, materials, or other inputs to complete the house.
- House must have a minimum plinth area of 225 sq. ft. following the prescribed layout.
