The Maternity Assistance Scheme is a welfare initiative by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (PBAOCWWB), designed to provide financial assistance to pregnant women construction workers. Application Process
Offline Process for Registration and Application:
Step 1:
Visit the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board office (Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry – 605 009) to obtain the registration form. Alternatively, print the application form available in the Citizen’s Charter.
Step 2:
Fill out the registration/application form with all mandatory fields, paste a passport-sized photograph, and attach the necessary documents (self-attest if required).
Step 3:
Submit the form and documents to the concerned authority at the office, and request a receipt or acknowledgment.
Step 4:
Upon verification by the officials, the worker will be registered as a beneficiary after approval from the Secretary (Board). The worker must also pay the registration fee of ₹25/- at enrollment and an annual subscription fee of ₹100/-.
