Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for Thrust Sectors: Scheme For Food Processing Industries

The “Scheme For Food Processing Industries” is a sub-scheme under the “Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS)” for Thrust Sectors, launched on 3rd July 2015 by the Department of Industries, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. It has been extended from 20th May 2022 and will remain in force till 19th May 2027.

This sub-scheme aims to promote the food processing industry by providing credit-linked interest subsidies to enterprises involved in the establishment or expansion of food processing units.

Benefits

• 60% interest subsidy per annum

  • Maximum: ₹50,00,000 per annum

  • Duration: 5 years or loan repayment period, whichever is earlier

• Additional 10% subsidy for units set up in dedicated Industrial Parks for Food Processing Industries

Eligibility

• The applicant must be:

  • A New Manufacturing/Service Unit, or

  • An Existing Unit undergoing Expansion/Diversification in the MSME sector

• The unit must:

  • Be located in the U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu

  • Have started commercial production between 20.05.2022 and 19.05.2027

  • Apply within one year from the first loan disbursement or before the date of commercial production

Exclusions

• Units are not eligible if:

  • The term loan is sanctioned after one year from the date of commencement of production

2. Fill in all mandatory details and click “Register”

3. Verify your email address through the link received in your inbox/spam

4. Use the link/URL to complete account verification

5. Enter “111111” as OTP to verify your mobile number

6. Login credentials will be emailed to you upon successful registration

Application Process:

1. Login using your Mobile Number and PIN

2. Click “Departments & Services” from the left-hand menu

3. Select “District Industries Centre DD & DNH” → Click “Click Here” under IPS

4. Fill out the Common Application Form (CAF) and upload all necessary documents

5. Verify the data and click “Submit” to complete the process
