The “Assistance For Quality Certification” is a sub-scheme under the “Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS)” launched on 3rd July 2015 by the Department of Industries, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme was extended and is now operative from 20th May 2022 to 19th May 2027. It aims to support MSMEs in obtaining quality certifications to enhance their product standards and competitiveness in both domestic and global markets.

Benefits

  • 50% of the fee payable for National/International Certifications

  • 50% of the cost of testing equipment and machinery, subject to a maximum of ₹10,00,000 per unit

Eligibility

  • Applicable to:

    • New Manufacturing/Service Units

    • Existing Manufacturing/Service Units undergoing Expansion/Diversification

  • The unit must:

    • Commence commercial production between 20.05.2022 and 19.05.2027

    • Be located in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu

    • Obtain certification from bodies registered with NABCB (National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies)

    • Apply within one year from the date of issue of the quality certificate

Exclusions

  • Certifications that are statutory requirements (i.e., mandatory by law) are not eligible for reimbursement

Registration Process:

  1. Visit the Registration page on the official portal

  2. Fill in necessary details and click “Register”

  3. Verify email via the verification link

  4. Use the OTP “111111” to verify mobile number

  5. Login credentials will be sent to your email

  2. Navigate to Departments & Services > District Industries Centre DD & DNH

  3. Select the IPS Scheme (2022 to 2027) application link

  4. Fill in the Common Application Form with required information

  5. Upload all mandatory documents
