The ICRO Amrit Internship Programme is an initiative launched by the IPL Centre for Rural Outreach (ICRO) under Indian Potash Limited (IPL), Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The program aims to enhance youth productivity and employment opportunities by providing vocational skills and hands-on experience in agriculture and rural development.
Interns will be placed at the headquarters and regional offices of NPC/IPL, with an initial duration of 3 months, renewable up to 4 times. The program runs throughout the year.
Objectives
- To promote productivity-based employment by enhancing vocational skills.
- To create awareness about increasing agricultural productivity.
- To train youth entrepreneurs to work in rural settings.
- To improve knowledge resources for youth engagement.
- To ensure environmental sustainability and conserve natural resources.
Benefits
- Stipend: ₹6,000 per month.
