Home Nursing Scholarship is a Government of Goa scholarship scheme by Directorate Social Welfare. Scholarships are awarded under this scheme to Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC (Non General) / Minority and General as well as Other special groups like Students with Disability. Scholarships for studying courses in Home Nursing at recognized State/Central institutions The amount of scholarship will assist in payment of course fee, Maintenance Allowance and expenditure on Books, Uniform, Stationery etc.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a student.

The applicant must have either been born in Goa or have resided in Goa continuously for at least 15 years.

The applicant must have secured admission to an institution recognized by the State or Central Government.

The applicant should be pursuing one of the following courses:
- Certificate Course in Home Nursing (Duration of at least 6 months)
- Diploma in Home Nursing (Duration of 1 year or more)
- Degree in Nursing (Duration of 3 years)
- Health Worker Course (Duration of 1 year or more)

The annual income of the applicant’s parent or guardian (from all sources) should not exceed ₹1,50,000/-.

The applicant should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Minority, or be differently-abled.
Note: A scholarship holder under this scheme shall not avail of any other scholarship or stipend to pursue the same course.
Exclusions : The scholarship will not be paid during the internship/housemanship.
Application Process
Online Registration:
- Visit the Official Website of the Chief Minister Scholarship Portal, Government of Goa.
- At the top right corner of the landing page, click “Register.”
- Fill in the student registration details, including name, gender, Aadhaar number, contact details, and address.
- Create a password (between 8-15 characters) and click “Register.”
- Once registered, log in to the portal to apply for the scholarship.
For Application:
- After registration, log in to the Chief Minister Scholarship Portal.
- From the dashboard, select “Home Nursing Scholarship” and click “Fresh Application.”
- Complete the application form, upload the required documents (Aadhaar card, caste certificate, income certificate, and others), and click “Submit.”
- Ensure all details are accurate before submitting the application.
