Puducherry Higher Education Finance Assistance Scheme PBAOCWWB 2025: Amount

The “Higher Educational Finance Assistance” is a Welfare Scheme by the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, financial assistance is extended to the wards of the Construction Workers who get admission into higher education programs through CENTAC, Puducherry. The amount is credited through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the bank account of the ward of the worker. The applications are accepted offline.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must be a student.
  • The applicant must be a ward of a registered construction worker under PBAOCWWB.
  • The construction worker must be registered with the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  • The applicant must have secured admission through CENTAC, Puducherry for the eligible courses.

Application Process

Offline Application Submission

Step 1:

  • Visit the Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Office at:
    Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry – 605 009
  • Obtain the prescribed application form free of cost from the designated authority.

OR : Download and print the prescribed application form from Page No. 91 of the Citizen’s Charter.

Step 2:

  • Fill in all mandatory fields in the application form.
  • Attach a passport-sized photograph (signed across if required).
  • Attach self-attested copies of required documents.

Step 3: Submit the completed application form along with documents to the concerned authority at the Welfare Board Office.

Step 4:

  • Collect an acknowledgment receipt from the concerned authority.
  • Ensure the receipt includes the date and time of submission and, if applicable, a unique identification number for tracking.
