Goa State Cultural Grant-in-Aid Scheme for Cultural Organizations

The “Scheme to Provide Grant in Aid to Cultural Organization (Maintenance/Regular Grants)” is an initiative by the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa. The scheme is designed to financially support voluntary cultural organizations in Goa to promote cultural activities and foster talent development within the state.

Benefits

The grant-in-aid is provided as reimbursement for 80% of the expenditure incurred by the institution in the previous financial year, subject to the following maximum limits:

Key Notes

  1. The institution must be a Goan organization registered under:
    • Society’s Registration Act, 1860, or
    • Indian Trust Act.

Preferences

Priority will be given to institutions involved in Cultural Education, such as training in music, dance, drama, and fine arts.

    • Take a printout of the proforma or request a hard copy.

  9. ECS Statement: Bank details (attach a canceled cheque).
  10. Utilization Certificate: For the previous year’s grant, signed by a Chartered Accountant.
  11. Audited Statements: Include the following:

    • Income & Expenditure
    • Balance Sheet
