Also The Government of Pondicherry in-charge Social Welfare is also implementing the welfare scheme, which assists different welfare oriented persons with fuel subsidies on motorised vehicles. The quotas are considered till the time they are avail & Funds availability.


Benefits of the Scheme

  • For under-2-horsepower vehicles: 
    • Fuel subsidy: 50% up to 15 gallons per month. 
  • Vehicles above 2 horsepower: 
    • Fuel subsidy: 50% up to 25 gallons per month.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residency:
    • The applicant must be a Native/Resident of the Union Territory of Pondicherry for at least 5 years.
  • Income Limit:
    • Annual income should not exceed ₹75,000.
  • Vehicle Ownership:
