Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant should have resided continuously in the Union Territory of Puducherry for at least five years.
- The applicant must belong to a Scheduled Caste.
- The applicant should be at least 18 years of age.
- The applicant’s annual income should not exceed ₹2,00,000/-.
Application Process (Online)
- Registration:
- Visit the Official Website of the e-District Portal of the Government of Puducherry.
- Click “Login” at the top right corner and select “Register a New Membership”.
- Fill in all mandatory fields including Username, Password, Personal Details, and agree to the declaration. Complete the Captcha and click “Signup”.
- Login:
- Return to the portal, click “Login”, enter your Username and Password, complete the Captcha, and click “Sign In”.
- Application Form:
- A list of schemes will be displayed department-wise. Click on the scheme “Financial Assistance to Poor Scheduled Caste People Suffering From Prolonged Diseases”.
- Fill in all the mandatory fields in the online application form and upload all required documents (self-attested if required).
- Declaration & Submission:
- Tick the declaration stating, “I hereby declare that the above-mentioned details are true and correct as per the best of my knowledge.”
- Submit the application and note the application number for tracking. This application number will also be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Tracking:
- Track your application status using the Track Your Application link available on the portal.
