Eligibility
• Qualification: Candidates must have passed the prescribed qualifying examination for the specific training program/course.
• One-time Benefit: Benefits under the scheme can be availed only once, regardless of the sector or nature of training.
• Prior Training: Candidates who have already completed skilling training under any government scheme are not eligible for the benefits under this scheme.
• Mandatory Attendance: Students must attend all mandatory training sessions for the course. If a candidate leaves midway, the training costs will be recovered from the candidate or the institute.
• Female Candidates: 40% of the slots will be earmarked for female candidates. If sufficient female candidates are not available, the remaining slots will be filled by male candidates.
• Sector: Training will be offered in tourism, IT, agriculture, handicrafts, retail, construction, and other sectors deemed relevant for the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir.
