The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Udyog Uday Yojana is an umbrella scheme launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat, to empower the MSME sector. Effective from August 7, 2020 to August 6, 2025, the scheme supports Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs, with the aim of making MSMEs globally competitive.
Under the component “Assistance to MSEs for Shed Developed by Private Developer”, eligible SC/ST entrepreneurs can acquire industrial sheds in government-approved mini estates, developed by private developers, with substantial financial aid from the government.
Benefits
• Additional 15% assistance to private developers on the total cost of the shed
• SC/ST entrepreneurs pay only 30% of the shed price to take possession
• Government disburses 35% of the shed cost to the developer after sale
• Remaining subsidy released after the entrepreneur begins production
Eligibility
• Must be a Micro/Small/Medium enterprise (MSME)
