Coaching Assistance Scheme 2025 for SC Students in Gujarat for NEET, JEE & GUJCET

For this purpose, the Government of Gujarat started the Coaching Assistance Scheme for Scheduled Caste Students pre-Exam like NEET, JEE, GUJCET for 2014-2015.
The scheme 2025-26 is being implemented under the care and control of Director, Scheduled Caste Welfare for the benefit of Scheduled Castes of Gujarat state.


Benefits

  • ₹20,000 or the actual coaching fee (whichever is lower) is provided as financial assistance.
  • The assistance amount is directly credited to the student’s bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for Students:

  1. The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
  2. There is no income limit for students.
  3. The student must have scored 70% or more in Class 10 and be currently studying in Class 12 (Science stream) for preparation of NEET, JEE, or GUJCET.

Eligibility Criteria for Coaching Institutes:

  1. The institution must have a minimum of three years of experience.
  2. The institution must have a GST number/PAN card.
  3. The institution must have biometric (fingerprint) machines to monitor student attendance.
  4. Faculty for NEET/JEE must hold an M.Sc. degree in the relevant subject.
  5. The institute must be registered under one of the following Acts:
    • Mumbai Public Trust Act, 1950
    • Companies Act, 1956
    • Shop and Establishment Act, 1948

Application Process

Offline Application:

  1. Visit the nearest Office of the Deputy Director, Office of Scheduled Caste Welfare.
  2. Collect the application form from the office or download it from the official website.
  3. Fill in the application form with the required details, attach a passport-sized photograph, and submit the necessary documents.
  4. Submit the completed form to the concerned office.
  5. After successful verification, the assistance amount will be directly credited to the student’s bank account through DBT.
