“Chikitsa Pratipoorti Yojana” is a scheme launched by the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Govt. of Jharkhand. This is a 100% state-sponsored scheme, and only residents or domiciles of Jharkhand can apply. The scheme provides financial assistance to registered workers for the treatment of serious illnesses such as cancer, heart disease (including surgery), kidney disease (including surgery), incurable mental disease (including surgery), AIDS, total hip replacement, spinal surgery, major vascular disease, bone marrow transplant, liver transplant, hepatoma, advanced cirrhosis of the liver, retinal detachment, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, reflux disease, among others. The benefits under the scheme are applicable once per disease per beneficiary. Please note that the financial assistance is payable only after the district-level committee recommends the benefit.

Application Process

Online

Registration:

  1. Visit the official website of the Comprehensive Labour Management System for Factory Establishment/Worker Registration/Inspection/Management & Grievance Redressal under the Department of Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Govt. of Jharkhand.
  2. Click on “Login” at the top right corner, then select “Register Here”.
  3. Fill in the Registration Form with mandatory details such as First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile, and create a Username and Password. Complete the captcha code and click “Register”.
    • Verification is done via OTP sent to your registered Mobile Number and Email ID.
    • Your login credentials will be sent to your registered Email and Mobile.

Application:

  1. Log in to the portal using your Username and Password.
  2. Navigate to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Form. The “Scheme Benefit Form” will open.
    • In the “Basic Details” section, fill in mandatory fields (those marked with a red asterisk) such as BOC Registration Number, Applicant’s Name, Applicant’s Father’s/Husband’s Name, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number, District, and Sex.
    • In the “Select Scheme” section, choose the appropriate scheme.
    • In the “Upload Section”, attach the required documents in the specified file format and size.
  3. Click “Submit Request”. An Application ID will be displayed on the next page and sent to your registered Email ID. Please note this Application ID for future reference.

Check Application Status:

  1. After submission, the application undergoes a three-level approval process (Clerk > Labour Superintendent > DLC).
  2. Go to Services > BOC Scheme Benefit > Application Status.
  3. Enter your Application ID and click “Search”. The status, along with details such as Applicant Name, Scheme Applied, Application Status, Remarks, Date, and Time, will be displayed.
  4. Once approved by the DLC, the application status will update to “Approved”. You can then print this page and submit it at the Labour Office to avail the scheme benefit.
