Arunachal Pradesh Government launched Chief Minister’s Paryatan Shiksha Yojana to give a boost to tourism and the development of the industry by empowering local youth with training. Given the growing requirement for skilled talent in the tourism and hospitality sector, this program sponsors students for pursuing different hospitality, catering, food production courses, and the like.   • Sponsorship for studying and enrolling in various tourism-related courses.
  • 8 students will be sponsored for a B.Sc. (Hospitality and Catering) course at an institute recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India for a 3-year degree program.
  • 25 students will be sponsored for Diploma courses (1.5 years) in five demand-driven categories offered by the Food Craft Institute, Nagaon, Assam, affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

    • Must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in any stream.
  • For Diploma Courses in tourism or hospitality:
    • Must have passed Class X or Class XII (or equivalent) in any stream.
  • For Postgraduate Diploma in tourism or hospitality-related subjects:
    • Must have a graduate degree in any stream.
  • The sponsorship is only for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The merit list will be based on the percentage of marks obtained.

Application Process Offline :

Step 01: For taking benefit of this scheme, the applicant needs to visit the nearest District Tourism Office, Arunachal Pradesh.
