“Chief Minister Gi Artist Singgi Tengbang (CMAT) – Schemes for Award to Distinguished Artistes” has been initiated by the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Manipur.     ₹1,00,000/- each (5 groups annually).
  • For Group (Senior Competition Winners):
    ₹1,50,000/- each (5 groups annually).

Payment Mode: The award money will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).


Eligibility

  • Applicants must be domiciles of Manipur.
  • Eligible awards include Padma Awards, Sangeet Natak Akademi, Sahitya Akademi, Lalit Kala Akademi, Zonal Cultural Centre Awards (including Young Awardees), National Level Competitions, and National Film Awards for both individuals and groups.
  • Age Criteria:
    • Young/Junior Category: Below 40 years.
    • Senior Category: Above 40 years.
  • The scheme covers awards announced or received during the current financial and calendar year.

Note: Selection of awardees will be carried out by a Screening/Selection Committee constituted by the Government.
