Launched on 15th August 2018, “Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana” is a flagship program of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The scheme aims to accord quality and cashless healthcare services to the indigenous people of the state and government employees and reduce out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses during major illness and hospitalization, thereby envisaging universal healthcare for all sections of society.

- Residency: Applicants should be residents of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Tribal Status: Applicants must belong to a tribal community recognized by the state.
- Location: Applicants must be legally residing in Changlang, Lohit, or Namsai Districts.
- State Government Employees: Employees and their dependents are eligible for the benefits.
- Disability: Coverage for serious ailments like cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, etc.

- Non-Hospitalization: Evaluation, diagnostic procedures, dental treatments, etc.
- Fertility and Cosmetic Treatments: Excludes infertility treatments, cosmetic procedures, etc.
- Substance-Induced Illnesses: Excludes diseases caused by drugs, alcohol, or suicide-related complications.

Online:

- Under the “Enrollment” section, click on “Apply Online”.
- Fill in the mandatory details in the enrollment form and upload the required documents.
- After successful submission, you will receive an e-Card.

- Enter your District and URN/Aadhaar Number, then click “Search”.
