The scheme “Cash Award” is a social security scheme, implemented by the Meghalaya Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB), Labour Department, Government of Meghalaya. Under the scheme, the Board annually awards cash prizes to three male and three female children of registered construction workers in each district who scores the highest marks in the SSLC examination.

Application Process
Online Application Process
Step 1: Worker Registration (If not already registered)
- Visit the Online Portal.
- Click on ‘Worker’ and enter all required details.
- Submit the form and receive a confirmation message.
Step 2: Applying for Cash Award
- Login using your User ID (Registered Mobile Number) and Password.
- Click on “Cash Award” scheme from the Dashboard.
- Fill in all necessary details and upload required documents.
- Click Submit to apply.
Step 3: Tracking/Updating Application
- Login to the Online Portal.
- Click on ‘Track Application Status’ from the menu.
- Click on ‘View Details’ to see your application progress.
- If required, click on ‘Update’ (Note: Once your application is under process, updates may not be allowed).
