The Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) has launched the Bharati Scheme for Education – 1st Class to 5th Class to support Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh. This financial assistance scheme encourages poor Brahmin students to continue their education without financial barriers. The scheme covers all 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Benefits
- Financial Assistance: ₹5,000/- per student for students from 1st Class to 5th Class.
Eligibility Criteria
- The student and their parents must belong to the Brahmin community.
- The student should be studying in Andhra Pradesh.
- The parents/guardians of the student must reside in Andhra Pradesh.
- The family’s annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.
- Priority will be given to students who are orphans, differently abled (physically handicapped), or children of single parents.
- The student must be enrolled in the Praja Sadhikara Survey (PSS).
- The student should not have received financial aid under any other government scheme for the same purpose.
- However, students availing benefits from Archaka Welfare Trust are eligible under this scheme.
Application Process
Online Registration
- Visit the Official Website and click on “Scheme”.
- Click on “Registration” under the concerned scheme name.
- Fill out the Application Form with the required details:
- Personal Details: Name, Address, Aadhaar number, Ration card number, Bank details, etc.
- Upload: Photo, Signature, and Certificate Details.
- Documents: Birth Certificate, Residential Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, Bank Passbook, etc.
- Submit the application and receive a reference number after submission.
Check Application Status
- Click on the “Services” link on the menu and select “Know your status”.
- Enter the Reference, Mobile, or Aadhaar Card Number to check the application status.
- Select the Financial Year and fetch the details.
Download the Acknowledgment Slip
- Visit the Official Website and click on “Scheme”.
- Click on “Acknowledgment Slip” under the concerned scheme.
- Enter the Aadhaar Card Number and select the Scheme.
- Click on Submit.
