- The student must be a permanent resident of the Union Territory of Puducherry:
- By virtue of birth OR
- By having continuous residence in Puducherry for at least five years.
- The student must pursue higher studies in a recognized university/college/institution.
- No income limit is applicable for the parents/guardian.
- No age restrictions apply to students under this scheme.
