The scheme “Assistance to Scheduled Caste Farmers for Installation of Submersible / Centrifugal Motor Pumpsets With Accessories” was launched by the Department of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, Union Territory of Puducherry. Offline
Obtain a PERMIT for construction of new/replacement tubewell from Pondicherry Ground Water Authority
- If using departmental machinery, approach the concerned office in Puducherry
- If using private machinery, obtain NOC from the concerned office
Construct tubewell using private machinery registered with Pondicherry Ground Water Authority. Department officials will inspect the site during construction.
After completion, collect the application form from the following offices:
- Puducherry Region: Office of the Hydrogeologist‐II, State Ground Water Unit & Soil Conservation, Thattanchavady, Puducherry‐9
- Karaikal Region: Office of the Additional Director of Agriculture, Karaikal
- Fill in the application, attach required documents, and paste a passport photo (signed if required)
- Submit the completed application and documents to the respective authority
- Application will be entered in a register and a unique seniority number will be issued.
