Eligibility
- Applicants must be permanent residents of the state of Assam.
- Home loans must be obtained from any Scheduled Commercial Bank, Regional Rural Bank, or Assam Cooperative Apex Bank operating in Assam.
- The total family income from all sources must not exceed ₹20,00,000.
- The housing loan must be for an amount exceeding ₹5,00,000 and must have been sanctioned by a bank on or after 1st April 2019.
- The loan account must not be under Non-Performing Assets (NPA) status.
- This subsidy is applicable only for the purchase of a first house by the composite family.

- Applicants who have already benefited under the previous Apon Ghar scheme are not eligible.
