AICTE SFURTI Scheme 2025: Eligibility, SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAMME

Short Term Training Programme-SFURTI Program, launched by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aims to provide financial assistance to the institutions for conducting faculty and student trainings to enable faculty members and students in the field of technical education and to introspect and learn techniques that can help prepare faculty and students to impart their research work in the development of small-scale business for the nation.
All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and Indian Micro Enterprises Development Foundation (IMEDF) is conducting STTP-SFURTI Program .This is a special purpose vehicle for developing alternatives group that accelerates the development of micro-enterprises. IMEDF is also the nodal agency of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India for the development of clusters under STTP-SFURTI (Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries.

  • Provide understanding of SFURTI, a scheme to regenerate traditional industries.
  • Train students and faculty in identifying and presenting project proposals.
  • Enhance skills to develop a viable detailed project report.
  • Understand resource management for technological and social innovations.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of project management and challenges in sustainable rural economic development.

  • Financial assistance: ₹4,00,000/- per institution.
  • Fund disbursement:
    • The entire grant is released to IMEDF after the successful conduct of the program.
    • Institutions must submit utilization certificates, expenditure statements, feedback forms, and a completion report to validate fund use.

Application Process

Online Registration for New Institutes

  1. Visit AICTE Partner Portal and click on New Institute.
  2. Hover over Login, select Investor Login.
  3. Click Sign Up Now, enter details, and verify OTP via email and mobile.
  4. Complete registration and log in with credentials.

Post-Registration Process

  1. Log in to AICTE Partner Portal and navigate to AQIS Application.
  2. Institute details will auto-populate in the application.
  3. Fill in demographic and bank details.
  4. Select SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAMME – SFURTI SCHEME from the scheme dropdown.
  5. Provide details:
    • Program Details
    • Participating Industries
    • Budget Estimate
    • Academic Credentials of Coordinator/PI/Applicant
  6. Click Validate Application and attach the Mandate Form.
  7. Enter the requested fund amount and submit the application.
