The Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for MSMEs was launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat and is valid from October 5, 2022, to October 4, 2027. It promotes industrial growth and supports MSMEs in the state.
Under the “Assistance for Power Connection Charges” component, financial support is offered to MSMEs for power connection-related costs including:

  • New connections

  • Additional load for expansion

  • Shifting of service lines

Benefits

  • 35% assistance on LT/HT power connection charges paid to DISCOMs

  • Maximum limit: ₹5,00,000/- during the operative period

Eligibility

  • Must be registered as a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise (MSME)

  • Must have valid MSME/DPIIT acknowledgment or registration

  • Unit must be located outside GIDC/approved industrial parks

  • Charges should be paid during the scheme’s operative period

  • Applies to new connection, load extension, or shifting of service line

  • Application must be submitted within 1 year from payment date

Registration Process

  1. Visit the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP)

  2. Click on “New Investor Registration”

  3. Fill and submit the registration form

  4. Verify email via link sent to the registered email ID

Post-Registration Process

  1. Log in to IFP portal

  2. Complete business details and upload required documents

  3. Submit the application

  • Udyam/IEM/LOI Registration certificate

  • Constitution documents of enterprise

  • CA certified Balance Sheet / Audit Report

  • CA certificate for capital investment

  • Land documents: NA permission, index, or sale deed

  • PAN card of enterprise and authorized persons

  • Estimates & receipts from DISCOM

  • Electricity bills and DISCOM certificate (HT/LT)

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

  • Shareholding pattern (self-certified)

  • Sanctioned load certificate from DISCOM

  • Self-certified expenditure statement backed by DISCOM

  • GPCB NOC/Consent & other approvals (if applicable)

  • GST registration (if applicable)

  • Cancelled cheque for bank details

  • POA / Board resolution / Consent letter

  • Self-attested document bundle by authorized signatory
